University Funding
Students interested in receiving Detroit Promise funding for four-year institutions must meet the following requirements:
- Successfully complete and submit the 2024-25 FAFSA and all college financial aid requirements.
- Live in Detroit for all four years of high school.
- Attend all four years and graduate from a high school in Detroit. (This can be any combination of Detroit high schools for all four years.)
In addition, scholars must meet the requirements of the college they are applying to (see below).
Please note: University scholarships cannot be transferred to another university.
