Zariah Bridges graduated from Renaissance High School in 2019 and went on to attend the University of Michigan with the help of the Detroit Promise. She is majoring in business administration and hopes to one day own her own real estate agency. In addition to full-time studies, Zariah participates in the business school’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce, a U of M fashion show, a female empowerment organization, and a business school club. Zariah will graduate from U of M in May of 2023. After graduation, she wants to continue working in her field of study and pursue a master’s degree in urban design.

Zariah’s advice for incoming Detroit Promise freshmen: “Step out of your comfort zone. Do things that you’ve never done before. College is all about trying new things and discovering yourself. You will learn so much about yourself through this process.”
