As Chair of the Detroit Promise Zone Authority Board of Directors, Dr. Taylor provided thoughtful, principled leadership that helped shape Detroit Promise's vision, strengthen its governance, and lay a strong foundation for its continued growth and impact. Her leadership reflected a steadfast commitment to expanding educational opportunities for Detroit students and advancing the mission of Detroit Promise.

A lifelong champion for Detroit, Dr. Taylor dedicated her career to building stronger communities, creating opportunity, and improving the lives of those who called the city home. Her influence extended far beyond Detroit Promise, leaving a lasting mark on the city through decades of leadership, service, and unwavering commitment to others.
