QUADRI OWOIYA, MANAGER, ENGAGEMENT FINANCIAL ADVISORY PRACTICE

Quadri Owoiya

Quadri Owoiya is a Manager within the Engagement Financial Advisory Practice under FA. In his role, he supports a wide range of clients in the automotive, health care, and energy space. One of his main responsibilities includes helping drive the firm’s effort to deliver high-quality, insight-driven financial management across all businesses. Owoiya has also served in leading roles on several firm/practice strategic initiatives within Deloitte to help drive talent retention and cross-region collaboration. Owoiya holds an MBA in finance and a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in information systems management from Wayne State University.

JUDY HEGELUND, LEADER, POLICY STRATEGY AND COMPLIANCE

DELOITTE Judy Hegelund

Judy Hegelund graduated from Oakland University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. After graduating, she began her career at Deloitte. During her 27 years with the organization, Hegelund has served large public companies in audit and mergers and acquisitions and has held leadership positions, including Finance Managing Director, Chief Talent Officer, Chief Inclusion Officer, and most recently, the Leader of Policy Strategy and Compliance.

As Finance Managing Director, Hegelund was responsible for the financial planning and analysis team, overseeing the financial management of a $3 billion organization. Strong financial management is important not only for large organizations but also for individuals to achieve financial independence. Hegelund enjoys sharing these skills with others to help them achieve success.

Outside of work, Hegelund is involved in the community, primarily in roles that help elementary, high school, and college students reach their full potential.
